Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to set up, test, adjust, troubleshoot and quality assure a range of glass and glazing processing plant and equipment. It may involve non-numerical control (NC) and/or computer numerically controlled (CNC) production machines and processes for semi-automatic or automatic operation. Troubleshooting involves using testing equipment to identify problems and take corrective action.This unit applies to plant technicians who resolve potentially complex equipment problems, sometimes in consultation with technical advisers.No licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication. Relevant legislation, industry standards and codes of practice within Australia must be applied. | ||
